Palmunen is a well-known and beloved composer and music producer based in Helsinki who has been successfully working in the industry for over a decade. His urban, credible aesthetic and understanding of clients' commercial audio needs have made him one of the most esteemed music creators and sound designers in Finland.

He completed his master's thesis on sound logos while studying at Vaasa University (MBA in Marketing). This strengthened his understanding of commercial audio usage and provided him with a deeper insight into the semantics associated with the use of sound and music as communication tools.

He has composed music for events such as Paris Fashion Week, as well as for clients including Marimekko, S-Group, K-Group, Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE, and Design Finland 100.
